I chose Ray Lewis who is an NFL linebacker who is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, Super Bowl MVP and played his entire 17-year career with the Baltimore Ravens. Ray Lewis was born in Bartow, Florida, in 1975. The oldest of five children, Lewis became a football star at Kathleen High School and was recruited to play at the University of Miami. In 1996, Lewis was a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens. He led the team to a Super Bowl victory in 2000, and was named Defensive Player of the Year that same season. In 2013, Lewis led the Ravens to another Super Bowl victory. He retired in 2013.
He became my favorite athlete because he was a beast on the field and wants to hit people, but off the field he is one of the most motivating people in our time. He can probably motivate you to jump off of a bridge he's that great and I would spend time watching his highlights or motivational speeches. Watching one of his videos or listening to him speak before a game hypes you up because he has that gift of motivational speaking and anyone can do it, but not like Ray Lewis can. He will easily be known for one of the best to ever play the game and I'm not the only person who thinks that. If you ever watched a game and the Baltimore Ravens are playing, it would be 99.99% guaranteed you would enjoy it.

He played middle linebacker his entire career, and is considered to be one of the greatest ever to play the position. He was a 13-time Pro Bowler, a 10-time Associated Press All-Pro, and one of the few players in NFL history to play in a Pro Bowl in three different decades (1990s, 2000s, and 2010s). He is also considered to be the greatest Baltimore Raven of all-time. He would go on to win the Super Bowl in his final season. He had a great career and he will go down as a Hall of Fame linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens.
