Memorial Day is the day where we as a country honor the soldiers who have died while serving our country. It is celebrated or observed on the last Monday of May which it used to be originally May 30th which changed to the last Monday of May. Many Americans visit cemeteries or memorials and honor them with flowers and and other item they wish to place on the grave. Most families also host family gatherings and most attend parades. The purpose of Memorial Day is to remember the fallen and honor those who have served our country.
Memorial Day makes me thankful and very grateful to the ones who serve our country especially because I did have a family member serve in the military. It's like another day for me to remember and honor all those who have fallen and those who are currently serving in the military. I don't go crazy over it, but I still care because I know most people look over the holiday and don't really care and it keeps me modest and grateful for what I have. I don't think I could ever do it so I give my respect to anyone who joins the military and they literally put their lives on the line to keep us safe from foreign attack or any threats. Memorial Day means a good deal to me to the point where I respect the fallen or those who are serving and try not to be disrespectful at all.
My grandpa served in the army during the Vietnam war and he is the main reason I care about Memorial Day because I realize that there are family members all over the world who has parents, siblings, etc. serving. I think he served in 1968-1969 as an engineer and he mainly built bridges which I am assuming were important for transportation and although it's not soldiers in constant danger I still appreciate that he served for our country. Memorial Day is important because to many it means a lot to them and to have a whole day to recognize our heroes and honor them is a great thing. The sacrifice that the soldiers are making to serve our country is immense considering there are some with families and loved ones that they have to leave. Memorial Day is a great day all around and is a holiday that should be used to recognize the soldiers and the fallen and not really focus on the partying and other activities.

Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones first episode aired April 17, 2011 and has continued to this day with 7 seasons and an additional one which should be the finale of the show. Set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, Game of Thrones has several plot lines and a large ensemble cast but centers on three primary story arcs. The first story arc centers on the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms and follows a web of alliances and conflicts among the dynastic noble families either vying to claim the throne or fighting for independence from the throne. The second story arc focuses on the last descendant of the realm's deposed ruling dynasty, exiled and plotting a return to the throne. The third story arc centers on the longstanding brotherhood charged with defending the realm against the ancient threats of the fierce peoples and legendary creatures that lie far north, and an impending winter that threatens the realm.
My dad watched it when it came out and whenever the seasons were aired and I was too young for it back then, but I started to watch it I think last year and I couldn't stop watching it. For the most part the show is really good, but it has it's moments where the seasons aren't as good as they were before. It is unpredictable and you will be so surprised as to what happens and you will probably be so shocked after seeing some of the scenes in the show. The more I watched the more I didn't want to stop and almost everything about it is good. The show has some well known actors such as Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Lena Headey, etc.
If you watch the show I recommend not to have any bias for anyone, house, etc. because you will probably end up being very disappointed or upset. It's unpredictable and you can never guess what will happen at least for me and it will always have you surprised. If you like violent action movies or shows then this show is perfect for you because of all the gore and violence in it. The show was not made for kids at all, there's not a single thing in the movie where it's ok for kids to watch. Overall the show is really good and recommend you to watch it.

Ray Lewis
I chose Ray Lewis who is an NFL linebacker who is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, Super Bowl MVP and played his entire 17-year career with the Baltimore Ravens. Ray Lewis was born in Bartow, Florida, in 1975. The oldest of five children, Lewis became a football star at Kathleen High School and was recruited to play at the University of Miami. In 1996, Lewis was a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens. He led the team to a Super Bowl victory in 2000, and was named Defensive Player of the Year that same season. In 2013, Lewis led the Ravens to another Super Bowl victory. He retired in 2013.
He became my favorite athlete because he was a beast on the field and wants to hit people, but off the field he is one of the most motivating people in our time. He can probably motivate you to jump off of a bridge he's that great and I would spend time watching his highlights or motivational speeches. Watching one of his videos or listening to him speak before a game hypes you up because he has that gift of motivational speaking and anyone can do it, but not like Ray Lewis can. He will easily be known for one of the best to ever play the game and I'm not the only person who thinks that. If you ever watched a game and the Baltimore Ravens are playing, it would be 99.99% guaranteed you would enjoy it.
He played middle linebacker his entire career, and is considered to be one of the greatest ever to play the position. He was a 13-time Pro Bowler, a 10-time Associated Press All-Pro, and one of the few players in NFL history to play in a Pro Bowl in three different decades (1990s, 2000s, and 2010s). He is also considered to be the greatest Baltimore Raven of all-time. He would go on to win the Super Bowl in his final season. He had a great career and he will go down as a Hall of Fame linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens.

Action Park
I chose Action Park because it would be a fun field trip and we can learn about physics and how water affects movement. I'm pretty sure everyone would enjoy going to Action Park because there are a bunch of things we could do that are a lot of fun. We can go on water slides, drops, rides, etc. and we can learn while we are there about physics. I chose the destination because it's a fun place to be and it would be good to have one fun field trip once in my high school years. It would be a good time to have fun with friends and learn at the same time.
It relates to school because physics is involved like gravity, friction, etc. We can learn how different things affect movement such as turns, twists, water, etc. Physics is a hard class, but if there is not work to it and you just learn it right then and there, it's so much better then sitting in class and doing work. Going to Action Park would make learning fun because they are outside having fun instead of sitting in a dreadful class and writing equations and all these things down. It is so much better then sitting in a classroom and you make kids want to learn because of this field trip.
I would want to learn about gravity because gravity is an interesting topic. Also learning what affects gravity such as friction, elements, etc. Obviously water makes you go faster because it acts as a lubricant to the water slide and makes you zip down the slide and that's interesting because it makes the slide fun. I would learn much more if I was actually there to learn it with physical experience not just learning from a book or teacher. Overall the field trip is worth it because we would learn more and pay attention better and we can have a lot of fun.

Arts and Craft Class
If I could add any class to our curriculum, it would be a crafting class. I would add it because we don't have many artistic classes besides general art classes and crafting would be cool to do. The students would craft anything the teacher chooses with all types of material the school can afford. They could craft animals, objects, skyscrapers, etc. it would be fun for the students and it's something students would enjoy. Basically any student who is good at crafting or anyone who wants to learn, the class is open to those people and it would be constant crafting every class and it would be fun not boring.
The environment would probably be peaceful or loud depending on what they're crafting and also depending on the kids it can change the feeling of the class. It would probably just look like an art room or something like that where mess can be cleaned up easily and maybe some days it can be an outdoor class. So the feeling and sound of it can vary depending on students, classroom, or what they're crafting. It can be relaxing for many students because it's a past time and for some students crafting or making things is what relaxes them or make them feel good. It would be a class that isn't a waste of time like most classes in our curriculum and it could be fun for teachers and students.
To prove they are actually learning or produce what they have learned they would craft. Grading would be based off of effort because not everyone is artistically gifted, but most people really want to do good so as long as effort is shown they would get a good grade. They would craft what they would like or whatever the teacher wants and the teacher can grade as he/she pleases. Obviously the kids who are just there for a free class would get a bad grade and the ones who actually care would get a good grade. Crafting and showing effort would show their progress and show that they are learning.

Invisible
If one day I became invisible, I would want to help the world become a better place. I would be able to do a lot of things I couldn't do before when I was visible. I would try and help the police or whatever and help sneak around and do things that are legal or illegal, but for a good cause to catch someone bad or something. For a day at least I can do as much as I can like helping a criminal case or I can steal from the rich and greedy and give to the ones in need. I would only steal from those who feel they are entitled and are bad people in general.
I would want to mess around with people obviously like friends, family, etc. If you had an invisible cloak, you have to have some fun with it so I would want to mess around and joke around as much as I can. Even when I do my good deeds, I would want to mess around with the person I'm stealing from and draw things on their wall or mess things up or something. If I had school that day I would go in without the cloak so teachers can take my attendance then go to the bathroom and put the cloak on and mess around with students and faculty members. I would go around the school and in classrooms and take a marker or chalk and draw things and write things.
After school I would go do my Robin Hood act for like a couple hours then I would go home or do something else. I would drive while invisible to mess with drivers and people. I would go to drive throughs and talk to them and prank them or something and I would go around doing that to people. After that I'll probably be tired so then I'd go home and get ready for bed and maybe mess around with family for a little bit. Then I'd just go to sleep.

The Blind Side
The Blind Side is about a young high school kid who is homeless and is soon taken in by Leigh Anne Tuohy. She and her husband become his legal guardian which changes both of their lives forever and his size and protective instinct allowed him to become an outstanding football player. As he realizes his talent and gift for the game, he pursues his goal to go to college and also deal with personal issues like family and "friends". The movie is of his life during his high school years and how incredible his story is of how he has changed and became an All-American football player.
Quinton Aaron stars as Michael Oher, alongside Sandra Bullock as Leigh Anne Tuohy, Tim McGraw as Sean Tuohy, and Kathy Bates as Miss Sue, Oher's tutor. The film also features appearances by several current and former NCAA coaches, including Houston Nutt, Ed Orgeron, Nick Saban, Lou Holtz, Tommy Tuberville, and Phillip Fulmer. Sandra Bullock has one best actress Oscar, Golden Globe award for best actress, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress, and Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actress: Drama. The movie director has won best movie ESPY award and the movie itself won Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie: Drama.
I chose this movie because it's very interesting and fascinating to watch. I really liked the movie and the idea of a kid who just started playing football gets DI offers and big time coaches trying to recruit him is just crazy. It's also one of the best football movies I've ever watched and one of the best in general. From start to finish it seems there's always something happening with his life. I've watched this movie more then once because it's that good and I do recommend this movie because I honestly believe you will really enjoy this movie.

Breezy
Chris Brown Born on May 5, 1989, in Tappahannock, Virginia, Chris Brown became a teen heartthrob, landing R&B and pop hits that included "Run It!," "Kiss Kiss" and "Forever." In 2009, he physically assaulted his then-girlfriend, pop/dance star Rihanna, and found his songs dropped from radio. Afterward, Brown rediscovered success on the music charts, earning a Grammy for his 2011 album, F.A.M.E., but also continued to receive attention for brushes with the law. Brown is known for his smooth voice, amazing dance moves, boy-next-door charm and controversy surrounding his physical assault of former girlfriend Rihanna. Growing up in a small town of roughly 2,000 people, Brown enjoyed singing in his church choir.
His songs are what I like to listen to and I enjoy almost all of his songs. My friend recommended him to me a while ago and now I try and listen to all his songs. Yes I know he's not the nicest person in the world, but I like his music more than his personality. As I continued to listen to his songs I grew to like his songs more and more and now he's just become my favorite person to listen to. His songs are something you can sing, dance, and do whatever to.
His 2011 album F.A.M.E. sold 270,000 copies the week of its release, and hit #1 on the U.S. Billboard. Has been nominated for 15 Grammy Awards and won one. Billboard names him "Artist of the Year.". Signed by Jive Records at age 15. Jive Records releases Brown's debut album "Chris Brown." It peaks at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.

Spring
Spring season is very effective; when it comes it wakes up everything in the nature like trees, grasses, flowers, crops, animals, human beings and other living things from the long sleep of winter season. Human beings wear new and light clothes, trees get full of new green leaves and branches and flowers become more fresh and colorful. Everywhere fields become full of new grasses and thus entire nature looks green and fresh-looking. The leaves flourishing in the trees and the flowers sprung up taller than a skyscraper. The grass greener then ever and people out and about playing baseball, football, etc.
The beauty of this season and all around happiness makes mind very creative and gives energy to the body to start new works with full confidence. The sound of birds in the early morning and moon light in the night, both become very pleasant, cool and calm. Sky looks very clear and wind becomes very cool and refreshing. It is important season for farmers as their crops ripen in the fields and it is time to cut them. Spring brings out the happiness in most people and it really brightens the mood instead of the cold and moody weather.
Spring season is the season of flowers and festivals thus brings lots of joy and happiness. Colorful and beautiful flowers completely win the heart and green grasses give us a nice ground to walk in the garden. Beautiful flying butterflies catch our eyes often in the morning and evening. Day and night both become very pleasant and cool. Environment becomes full of charming sounds of bees, cuckoo, and other birds in the early morning.
